Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal information Cayvant Advisory Ltd. ("Cayvant", "we") collects through cayvantadvisory.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
Who we are
Cayvant Advisory Ltd. is a private company incorporated in The Bahamas that provides independent construction cost and property advisory services. You can reach us at geraldo@cayvantadvisory.com.
What we collect
- Newsletter signup: your name (if asked) and email address.
- Project form: the details you give us about your project, such as your island, project type and budget range, plus your contact details.
- Call booking: your name, email and the time you choose.
- Emails you send us: the content of your message and your email address.
We do not ask for payment card details, bank details or government ID numbers through this site.
Why we use it
- To send you the Island Build Brief newsletter and the free checklist, if you asked for them.
- To review your project details and decide whether we can help.
- To schedule and prepare for a call with you.
- To reply to your emails.
Your consent and email
We only add you to the newsletter after you confirm by clicking a link in an email we send you. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to us and ask to be removed.
Sending the project form or booking a call does not subscribe you to the newsletter. We use those details only to review your project, prepare for the call and reply to you. If you want the newsletter as well, you sign up for it separately.
Who handles your information
We use trusted services to run the business. They process your information for us and only for that purpose:
- Kit, for newsletter signup and email delivery.
- HubSpot, for keeping track of project enquiries.
- Google (Workspace and Calendar), for email and booking calls.
- Cloudflare, for the website and its domain.
Some of these services store information outside The Bahamas. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep newsletter details until you unsubscribe. We keep project enquiry details for as long as they are useful for the conversation with you, and then delete them or ask you whether to keep them. We keep a minimal record of an unsubscribe so that we do not email you again.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email geraldo@cayvantadvisory.com and we will reply promptly.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this notice first. Our forms and booking page are provided by the services listed above and may set their own cookies needed to work.
Security
We use reputable services with sign-in protection and limit who can see your information. No online system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive documents through the forms.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top of this page.
